Dragonflies with a watercolor wash

This card isn't perfect by a very long shot!  But I like how it turned out.  I had been watching videos by Catherine Pooler and she was into using Distress Inkpads and a Hero Arts stamp to create so lovely cards.  Well, I had neither the Distress Inkpads nor the beautiful Hero Arts stamp so I improvised and used this Inkadinkado set.  I stamped the flowers and dragonflies in Versamark and then embossed them with white ink.  I then used my watercolors and put a wash over the entire card and left it alone to dry.  After it dried I felt it needed more so I stamped in some of the Flourishes from the set.

I found an appropriate Happy Birthday greeting and stamped and embossed it on vellum.
